Manila Bulletin was established on February 2, 1900 as a shipping journal.
It was previously known as Manila Daily Bulletin and Bulletin Today.
Up till 1990, it was the largest circulating broadsheet newspaper
in the Philippines, but it is now second to Philippine daily
newspaper. It is a comprehensive and trustworthy newspaper that
is published seven days a week. Manila Bulletin Publishing Corporation
also publishes a sport digest which features in-depth sport
articles, athlete's profiles, sport news and trivia.
Manila Bulletin was initially owned by a
Swiss expatriate named Hans Menzi, but it's now owned by Filipino-Chinese business mogul Emilio Yap( retrieved from

also owns Manila Hotel and Euro-Phil Laboratories.
